This major new production of Cameron Mackintosh’s epic musical opened at Newcastle Theatre Royal in October 2025, and is currently playing in Leeds. The show opens in Oxford on 16 December.

Further tour dates include Llandudno, Hull, Southampton, Plymouth, Aberdeen, Belfast, Nottingham, Milton Keynes, Liverpool, Bradford, Norwich, Derry, Cardiff, Glasgow, Blackpool, Canterbury, and Bristol.

The show is directed by Jean-Pierre van der Spuy, and produced by Michael Harrison (EVITA, Starlight Express) in association with Miss Saigon’s original producer, Cameron Mackintosh (Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Hamilton, Mary Poppins).

Miss Saigon stars The X Factor’s Seann Miley Moore as The Engineer, Julianne Pundan as Kim, and Jack Kane as Chris.

The cast also features Dom Hartley-Harris (Hamilton), as John, Emily Langham (Hello, Dolly!) as Ellen, Mikko Juan as Thuy, Ace (The Voice) as Gigi, Bea Ward as Alternate Kim, and Aaron Teoh as Alternate Engineer.

The ensemble includes Jamil Abbasi, Aaron Aisoni, Daniel J Brian, Ann-Marie Craine, Ben Fenwick, Aaron Gonzales, Owen Johnston, Evita Khrime, Caleb Lagayan, Rayhan Lee, James Mateo-Salt, Shania Montevalde, Ryan Ocampo, Julius Sahr, Tonny Shim, Anh Koha Trần, Yiling Yang, Aimee Yue and Carmen Zhu.

Miss Saigon has music by Claude-Michel Schönberg with lyrics by Richard Maltby Jr. and Alain Boublil, adapted from original French lyrics by Alain Boublil, with additional lyrics by Michael Mahler. Orchestrations are by William David Brohn.

First staged in London in 1989, Miss Saigon has become one of the most successful musicals of all time, seen by over 38 million people in 378 cities worldwide. The upcoming tour marks 35 years since its West End debut.

Miss Saigon tells the story of Kim, a young Vietnamese woman who falls in love with an American GI during the final days of the Vietnam War, leading to a harrowing and emotional journey across continents. The musical features songs such as “The Heat is On in Saigon”, “Last Night of the World” and “The American Dream”.

The creative team also includes Co-choreographers Chrissie Cartwright (CATS, The Phantom of the Opera) and Carrie-Anne Ingrouille (SIX The Musical); Set and costume designer Andrew Edwards (Tartuffe); Lighting Designer Bruno Poet (Tina – The Tina Turner Musical); Sound Designer Adam Fisher (Oliver!); Video Designer George Reeve (Disney’s Hercules); Musical supervisor Graham Hurman; and Casting director Sarah Leung CDG.
