The BBC has announced that West End star Amber Davies (Legally Blonde, The Great Gatsby, Pretty Woman, Back to the Future) is set to join the celebrity line-up for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Amber will replace Dani Dyer, who had to pull out of the entertainment show this week with a broken ankle.
Amber Davies will dance with Nikita Kuzmin in the show.
The West End star was confirmed this week to lead the major new tour of hit musical comedy Legally Blonde, playing Elle Woods in the show.
On sale today, is the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour, featuring judges from the show and celebrity contestants. Which contestants are appearing on the Live Tour is to be announced after the series has ended.
Legally Blonde is coming to UK and Ireland theatres in 2026, opening at the Curve in Leicester on 7 February 2026, and then touring to 31 venues including Southampton, Sheffield, Milton Keynes, Southend, Canterbury, Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool, York, Truro, Newcastle, Nottingham, Oxford, Plymouth, Leeds, Cardiff, Aberdeen, Bristol, Dublin, Belfast, Norwich, Edinburgh, Aylesbury, Wolverhampton, London Wimbledon, Hull, Manchester, Stoke, Woking, and Sunderland.
