Alice Birch (Anatomy of a Suicide; Normal People) presents a kaleidoscopic portrait of masculinity, from the 19th century to the present day, in a sweeping and provocative new play.

At its centre is the story of three brothers across different time periods, with shifting identities spanning soldier, coloniser, cult leader, athlete, podcaster, even a man living as a badger. This thrilling, unsettling work explores how male narratives have shaped the world we live in today.

Directed by former Royal Court Associate Director Sam Pritchard, Romans stars Kyle Soller (The Inheritance; Andor) alongside a superb ensemble.
