Former The Pussycat Dolls and X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger is to star in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s revival of CATS at the London Palladium.
Andrew Lloyd Webber has announced that acclaimed American music artist Nicole Scherzinger is to star in a major West End revival of CATS at the London Palladium this Christmas.
She will join the cast of the show to make her West End debut as Grizabella, singing the award-winning song “Memory” and following in the footsteps of Elaine Paige in the part.
CATS is returning to the West End for a limited run at the London Palladium from 6 December 2014.
Based on T. S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, the show’s original creative team of director Trevor Nunn, associate director and choreographer Gillian Lynne, designer John Napier and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber are all reuniting for the show.
Nicole Scherzinger is an acclaimed American recording artist, as part of The Pussycat Dolls – one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, and in her successful solo career. In 2011 she joined the UK version of the X Factor as a judge.

Andrew’s score is breathtaking and I am truly honoured to have been asked to take part in what I know will be a very special time in my career. I can’t wait to begin rehearsals.”
