West End star Emily Lane (Frozen The Musical, Sleeping Beauty) is set to join the cast of Blessings, for its world premiere at the Riverside Studios in London.
Blessings is playing at the Riverside Studios from 30 September to 26 October 2025.
Emily Lane plays Sally in the show, alongside the previously announced Gary Webster (Minder, Family Affairs) as Frank, Jane Slavin (Call the Midwife) as Dorie, Hannah Traylen (Educating Rita) as Frances, Milly Roberts as Penny and Gary Webster’s son Freddie Webster as Martin.

Written and directed by Sarah Shelton (Family Affairs), the wider creative team includes lighting design by Dan Terry, sound design by Andy Graham, set and costume design by Alice Carroll, producer Justin Savage, and casting director and general manager Denise Silvey.
Set in a small English town in the 1960s, Blessings is billed as a blisteringly honest, darkly funny new play exploring faith, family and the lies we tell to keep everything from falling apart.
The play was originally produced at last year’s Riverside Bitesize Festival.
Blessings is produced by Artful Entertainment, and playing at the Riverside Studios from 30 September to 26 October 2025.
