West End Charity Football Club has announced the return of its annual The Big West End Walk.

This year’s sponsored event, back for its third year, will take place on Sunday 7 September 2025, raising money for Acting for Others.

West End stars and famous faces will take to the streets to join the team in walking to 58 West End theatres in one day, covering 15 miles of London.

Led by West End Charity Football Club Captain Jon-Scott Clark (Hamilton, Miss Saigon) and Jonny Phillips (Les Misérables), who launched the event in 2023, last year’s event raised over £4,000 for Acting for Others.

West End stars who walked for charity last year included Caroline Sheen (9 to 5: The Musical, Mary Poppins), Gary Wilmot (A Man for All Seasons, Wicked), Ben Stock (Grease, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Harriet Thorpe (EastEnders, Wicked), John Partridge (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Cats), Michael Jibson (This Is My Family, Hamilton), and Tom Read Wilson (Celebs Go Dating, The SpongeBob Musical).

Acting for Others is an organisation made up of 14 member charities, providing financial and emotional support for people working in theatrical professions. The Acting for Others charities are Actor’s Children’s Trust, Dancers’ Career Development, Denville Hall, Drury Lane Theatrical Fund, Equity Charitable Trust, Evelyn Norris Trust, SafetyCurtain, King George V Fund for Actors and Actresses, Ralph and Meriel Richardson Foundation, Dance Professionals Fund, The Royal Opera House Benevolent Fund, The Royal Theatrical Fund, Theatre Chaplaincy UK and The Theatrical Guild.
