Producers of Olivier Award-winning musical comedy Titanique have revealed a casting update for the show at the Criterion Theatre in London.

From 15 July, Astrid Harris takes over from Lauren Drew playing the role of Céline Dion. Astrid has been performing the role of Céline in the French production of the show.

From 22 July, Jenny O’Leary (We Will Rock You) starts performances as Molly Brown, having also performed the role in the production in Paris. Jenny takes over as maternity cover for Charlotte Wakefield.

The show recently had a big cast change, with Luke Bayer (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, RENT) joining as Jack, Richard Carson (Les Misérables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) as Cal, Hiba Elchikhe (The Time Traveller’s Wife, Here & Now) as Rose, Carl Mullaney (La Cage Aux Folles, Les Misérables) as Ruth, and Tosh Wanogho-Maud (Robin Hood – Palladium Panto, The Drifters Girl) as The Iceberg.

Darren Bennett continues to play Victor Garber / Luigi.

On-stage background vocalists are Adrianne Langley, Madison Swan and Rodney Vubya, with offstage understudies Caitlin Tipping and Freddie King.

At this year’s Olivier Awards, Titanique won Best New Entertainment or Comedy Play.

Titanique is co-written by Tye Blue, Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli, directed by Tye Blue and choreographed by Ellenore Scott.

In the show, the music of Céline Dion makes sweet Canadian love with the eleven-time Oscar-winning blockbuster film Titanic, turning one of the greatest love stories of all time into a hysterical musical fantasia.

The creative team also includes Music Supervision, Arrangements and Orchestrations by IRNE Award-Winner Nicholas James Connell; Scenic Design by Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Lauchbacher for Iron Bloom Creative Production; Costume Design by Alejo Vietti; Lighting Design by Paige Seber; Sound Design by Lawrence Schober; and casting by Pearson Casting CDG.

Titanique opened Off-Broadway in June 2022 at Asylum Theater, and is now playing at New York’s Daryl Roth Theatre. As well as New York and London, the musical comedy is currently playing Sydney and Paris.

Titanique is now playing at the Criterion Theatre, booking to 4 January 2026.
