Tim Firth’s hit comedy Neville’s Island to transfer to the Duke of York’s Theatre.
Chichester Theatre’s 2013 revival of Tim Firth’s hit comedy Neville’s Island is to get a West End transfer, playing the Duke of York’s Theatre from 10 October 2014.
Directed by Angus Jackson, this 20th Anniversary production features a stellar comedy cast including Adrian Edmondson reviving his Chichester performance as Gordon, plus Miles Jupp, Neil Morrissey and Robert Webb.
The play follows the misfortunes of a group of middle-aged businessman out of on team building exercise that goes seriously wrong! Shipwrecked in the Lake District, they battle for survival with comedy results.
The show first played London in 1994 at the Apollo Theatre, getting an Olivier Award nomination for Best Comedy.
Tim Firth’s other writing and directing credits include Calendar Girls and Kinky Boots.
The play stars Adrian Edmondson (The Young Ones, Bottom) as Gordon, Miles Jupp (Rev, The Thick of It) as Angus, Neil Morrissey (Men Behaving Badly, Waterloo Road) as Neville and Robert Webb (Peep Show, Mitchell and Webb) as Roy.
