Jocelyn Jee Esien to play Sir Toby Belch in the new production
Shakespeare’s Globe in London has announced the cast and creative team of its forthcoming new production of Twelfth Night, directed by Robin Belfield (Princess Essex).
Twelfth Night is playing at Shakespeare’s Globe from 8 August to 25 October 2025.
The show will star Ronkẹ Adékọluẹ́jọ́ (The Importance of Being Earnest, Alex Rider) as Viola, Ian Drysdale (The Spy Who Came in from the Cold) as Andrew Aguecheek, Jocelyn Jee Esien (Little Miss Jocelyn) as Toby Belch, Aarushi Ganju (Testmatch) as Curio / Cover, Alison Halstead (More Life) as Maria, Laura Hanna (Otherland) as Olivia, Solomon Israel (Barbershop Chronicles) as Orsino, Henry Jenkinson (Player Kings) as Valentine / Cover, Joshua John (Alterations) as Sea Captain, Max Keeble (King Lear) as Antonio, Kwami Odoom (Force Majeure) as Sebastian, Pearce Quigley (Small Prophets) as Malvolio, Emmy Stonelake (Pride and Prejudice *Sort Of) as Fabian, and Jos Vantyler (The Magic Faraway Tree) as Feste.

The Twelfth Night creative team also includes Jean Chan as Designer, with Phillip J Morris as Assistant Director, Simon Slater as Composer, Paul Benzing as Fight Director, Ingrid Mackinnon as Movement and Intimacy Director, Ellen Hartley as Voice and Text, and Becky Paris CDG as Casting Director.
Director Robin Belfield said in a statement: “It’s a special thing, directing for the Globe Theatre space, so I’m thrilled to be back with Twelfth Night or What You Will alongside an extraordinary cast and creative team.
