Extra dates have been added for An Evening with The Fast Show – the nationwide live tour celebrating the cult British comedy series.
The newly announced shows expand the tour to 27 dates this autumn, with added performances in Torquay, Swansea, Bristol, Brighton, Leicester, Bradford, Llandudno, and Derby.
The tour begins at Cambridge Corn Exchange on 3 November, bringing together original cast members Simon Day, Charlie Higson, John Thomson, Paul Whitehouse, Mark Williams, and Arabella Weir for a night of nostalgia, laughter, and iconic characters.
This live stage show offers fans a unique behind-the-scenes look at the making of The Fast Show, with the cast sharing stories from the show’s creation, performing classic sketches and monologues, and revisiting some of their best-loved characters —Ted & Ralph, Swiss Toni, The Suit You Tailors, Competitive Dad, Dave Angel, and many more.
The evening also features video inserts and a special tribute to the late Caroline Aherne, a key member of the original team.
Charlie Higson said: “Please can you all stop buying tickets, or I’m going to be doing this for the rest of my life.”
Paul Whitehouse said: “What initially started as a number of shows last year, has now turned into an even bigger tour across the UK. I’m delighted that we’re adding even more shows and we are thrilled with the response.”
The Fast Show first aired on BBC2 on 27 September 1994 and became one of the nation’s best-loved comedy shows, having a huge influence on subsequent TV sketch shows. Oooooh, Suit You. No Offence! Niiiiiiiiiice! Brilliant!! Scorchio!!!
