Rising West End stars Jeevan Braich and Marianthe Panas, who are currently performing in Starlight Express at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, are set to perform in cabaret this summer.
HERE I AM – Celebrating the Songs that got us Here will run at The Phoenix Arts Club in London for two shows only, on 28 July and 4 August 2025.
Jeevan Braich is currently starring as Rusty in Starlight Express, with Marianthe Panas as Orange Flash, and covering Pearl and Belle.
Jeevan and Marianthe are leaving Starlight Express on 8 June, with a new cast starting in the show from 12 June 2025.
The cabaret will feature show-stoppers and pop ballads, plus a few surprises. The Musical Director and pianist will be Peter Woollard.
Jeevan Braich has won The Stage Debut Award for Best Performer in a Musical and the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Professional Debut for his role in Starlight Express.
Marianthe Panas was an established performer in her teens in South Africa, and trained at Arts Educational Schools in London.
Starlight Express is currently led by Jeevan Braich as Rusty, Kayna Montecillo as Pearl, Jade Marvin as Momma McCoy, Al Knott as Greaseball, Eve Humphrey as Dinah and Tom Pigram as Electra.
The new cast of Starlight Express from 11 June 2025 includes Gavin Adams as Rusty, Sophie Naglik as Pearl, Olivia Ringrose as Greaseball, Asher Forth as Electra and Georgia Pemberton as Dinah. Staying with the show are Jade Marvin as Momma McCoy and Jaydon Vijn as Hydra.
Producer of the cabaret, Collett Dawson of The CoLab Network, said in a statement: “I was blown away by the palpable chemistry that Jeevan and Marianthe had on stage when I saw them performing together in Starlight Express. It felt like their voices were just MEANT to duet together and so I’m thrilled we now get to debut Here I Am to an audience!”
Jeevan Braich said: “Being able to sing some of the most important and most meaningful songs to an audience is an absolute dream come true, but getting to do it with my amazing friend Marianthe just makes it all the more special. I can’t wait to be on that stage showing everyone who I truly am!”
Marianthe Panas said: “It’s been such a joy sharing the stage with Jeevan in Starlight Express – we’ve had a few special moments to duet when I went on for Pearl, and every time our voices blended, it just felt right. I’m beyond excited that we now get to bring that connection into our own show, with songs we truly love, telling our own stories. It’s a dream come true.”
