Based on hit American TV show “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”, the musical is now playing at Theatre Royal Bath, booking to 12 April 2025.

New in is a trailer for the show, which stars Scarlett Strallen (Mary Poppins; Singin’ in the Rain) as Mary, Sally Ann Triplett (Chicago; Cabaret; Cats; Mamma Mia!) as Lottie Slocomb & Sadie Grimes, Nicola Hughes (Fosse; Porgy and Bess; Into The Woods; Opening Night) as Eve & Arthur’s Mother, Gary Milner (Here & Now, Kiss Me Kate; Evita; Parade) as Detective Novak & Roman, and Damian Humbley (The Great British Bake Off Musical; The Woman in White; Merrily We Roll Along) as Courtney.

Alfred Hitchcock Presents – The Musical also stars Liam Tamne (The Prince of Egypt, Hairspray) as Fred & Carl, Joaquin Pedro Valdez (The Lightning Thief; The Baker’s Wife, Death Note) as Michael & Deitz, Alistair Brammer (Les Miserables, Miss Saigon) as  Richard & Ray, Mark Meadows (Flowers for Mrs Harris) as Maloney & Waterbury, Jade Oswald (Treason) as Lisa & Nurse Thornhill, Matthew Caputo (The Creakers) as Tommy, Ahmed Hamad (A Christmas Carol) as Arthur & Jerome, and Keanna Bloomfield (My Fair Lady) as Millie.

Other cast includes Georgia Mann, Ritesh Manugula, Choolwe Lain Muntanga, Matt Pettifor, and Jack Reitman.

For over a decade, Alfred Hitchcock Presents was must-see television in America, as the whole country joined to watch some of Hollywood’s biggest stars in episodes of mystery, mayhem and classic Hitchcockian wit, presented by the man himself.

Characters played by the talented cast include a paranoid housewife, a duplicitous jazz singer, a witness to murder, an escaped convict and a man literally on the edge, all struggling to survive in a potpourri of horror and mayhem!

The show is directed by Tony Award-winner John Doyle (Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Company), with an original score by Steven Lutvak (Best Musical Tony Award-winner for A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder) and a book by Jay Dyer (Showtime’s Californication).

The creative team also includes Co-Set Designers John Doyle and David L. Arsenault; Costume Designer Jonathan Lipman; Lighting Designer Johanna Town; Music Supervisor Catherine Jayes; Orchestrator Jason Carr; Casting Director Ginny Schiller CDG; and Musical Director Benjamin Holder.
