Festive classic The Snowman is flying back to London’s West End for Christmas 2025.
Presented by Sadler’s Wells, The Snowman will be playing at the Peacock Theatre from 22 November 2025 to 4 January 2025
Back for its 28th year, The Snowman is a magical stage adaptation of the much-loved picture book by Raymond Briggs and the film directed by Dianne Jackson. The magical show is a heartwarming tale of a boy and a snowman who comes to life, is an enchanting introduction to dance for the whole family.
This stage production of The Snowman originated at the Birmingham Rep, and features music and lyrics by Howard Blake, including ‘Walking in the Air’, played by a live orchestra in the show.
The Snowman is directed by Bill Alexander, with design by Ruari Murchison, choreography by Robert North and lighting design by Tim Mitchell.
The Snowman is running at the Peacock Theatre from 23 November 2024 to 4 January 2025.
Sadlers Wells also announced today that Matthew Bourne’s Olivier Award-winning adaptation of The Red Shoes returns to Sadler’s Wells Theatre from 2 December to 18 January 2026, as part of a major UK tour, while Sadler’s Well’s East will stage a brand-new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol, titled Ebony Scrooge. Devised by ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company, Ebony Scrooge blends hip hop, comedy and physical theatre, and runs from 26 November to 4 January 2026.
