Bat Out of Hell The Musical has started its brand new tour of the UK (see all dates), including playing London’s Peacock Theatre in the West End in May and June 2025.

New in is a stunning trailer for the tour, which stars Glenn Adamson as Strat, Katie Tonkinson as Raven, Rob Fowler as Falco and Sharon Sexton as Sloane.

The show has also added two more dates to the tour, and will now play Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury (29 July – 2 August 2025) and Congress Theatre, Eastbourne (25 – 30 August 2025). Eastbourne replaces a previous week that had been scheduled for The Orchard Theatre Dartford.

The show also stars Georgia Bradshaw (A Night With Janis Joplin, Peacock Theatre) as Zahara, Ryan Carter (Ain’t Too Proud, West End) as Jagwire, Carla Bertran (Jesus Christ Superstar, UK Tour) as Tink, Luke Street (Jesus Christ Superstar, UK Tour) as Ledoux and Carly Burns (Rehab The Musical) as Valkyrie.

The cast is completed by Leo Abad, Peter Camilleri, Joshua Dever, Reece Duncan, Georgia Holland, Georgia Iudica-Davies, Natalie Pilkington, Harriet Richardson-Cockerline, Sophie-Rose Emery, Catherine Saunders, Ethan Tanner, Craig Watson, James Wilkinson-Jones and Beth Woodcock.

Inspired by the spectacular arena tour of Australia and New Zealand, this thrilling, reimagined show features an eight-piece rock band on stage, and sprawling multi-level platforms that transport the audience through the diverse worlds of Bat Out of Hell, boasting some of the most iconic rock songs ever recorded!

The powerhouse songs featured in the musical include Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf’s greatest hits including I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That), Paradise By The Dashboard Light, Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad, Dead Ringer For Love and, of course, Bat Out of Hell.

Bat Out of Hell has a book, music and lyrics by Jim Steinman, and is directed by Jay Scheib, with musical supervision and additional arrangements by Michael Reed.

Additional choreography is by Xena Gusthart, with set and costume design by Jon Bausor, original wig designs by Linda McKnight, video design by Finn Ross, lighting design by Patrick Woodroffe, sound design by Gareth Owen, orchestrations by Steve Sidwell, original casting by David Grindrod CDG, UK Tour casting by Anne Vosser and General Management by Julian Stoneman & Jack Maple for MPSI Ltd.
