Smash-hit West End musical The Bodyguard is heading out on another UK tour in 2025 and 2026.

Produced by Michael Harrison and David Ian, the tour will start at Birmingham’s Alexandra Theatre on 20 September 2025, and then tour to Blackpool, Oxford, Aberdeen, and Milton Keynes.

The show will also start a European tour, kicking off in Zurich, from 25 November to 13 December 2025, with further dates to be announced.

Based on the hit movie starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, The Bodyguard features a number of classic songs including Queen of the Night, So Emotional, One Moment in Time, Saving All My Love, Run to You, I Have Nothing, I Wanna Dance with Somebody and one of the biggest hit songs of all time – I Will Always Love You.

In the show, former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard Frank Farmer is hired to protect superstar Rachel Marron from an unknown stalker. Each expects to be in charge; what they don’t expect is to fall in love.

The Bodyguard is directed by Thea Sharrock, with book by Oscar-winner Alex Dinelaris.

Casting and further creatives are to be announced.

To date, the musical has played to over 3.9 million people in 15 countries and 45 US cities. Countries include the Netherlands, Germany, South Korea, Canada, Italy, Australia, Spain, France, the US, Austria and Japan.
