Production images have been released for Homo Alone! , this year’s adult Christmas panto at The Other Palace Studio.
The hilarious parody reimagines the classic holiday tale with a cheeky twist, running from 29 November 2024 to 5 January 2025.
Leading the cast is Elliot Evans (Eugenius!, Turbine Theatre) as Kevin McCallister, bringing to life the mischievous character who accidentally gets left behind as his family heads to gay Paris. Evans promises to deliver a fresh and side-splitting take on the beloved role.
Joining him are Allie Dart (Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch), a two-time Off West End Award winner, as Kate/Harry, Jack North (Titanic) as Peter/Marv, and Steph Asamoah (Noughts and Crosses) as Buzz/Francois. All three will showcase their versatility, playing dual roles in this riotous production.

A Festive Plot Like No Other
When Kevin’s parents realize mid-flight that they’ve left their bébé home alone, chaos ensues. Initially relishing his newfound independence, Kevin soon learns that wishing his family away wasn’t the Christmas miracle he imagined—especially when two bumbling burglars target his home. Armed with paint cans, booby traps, and iconic holiday hijinks, Kevin takes matters into his own hands.
Promising risqué humor and outrageous moments, the show is billed as “a naughty Christmas extravaganza” that will leave audiences in stitches.
A Track Record of Christmas Hits
Homo Alone continues The Other Palace Studio’s tradition of wildly popular Christmas productions, following hits like Ghosted: Another F**king Christmas Carol and last year’s smash A Very Very Bad Cinderella.
Writers Jodie Prenger (Coronation Street, I’d Do Anything) and Bobby Delaney (Zog and the Flying Doctors, As You Like It) return to bring their unique comedic flair to this year’s offering. The show features direction by Alex Jackson, choreography by Dale White, set & costume design by Louie Whitemore, musical editor is Alex Bourne with musical direction by Lauren Hopkinson.
Prenger’s previous festive show, A Very Very Bad Cinderella, broke box office records at the venue, with glowing reviews like West End Best Friend’s “…definitely not one to miss!” and What’sOnStage praising its ability to leave audiences with “a great big grin.”
With Homo Alone!, the team looks set to deliver another unforgettable holiday hit.
Homo Alone! is playing at The Other Palace theatre until to 5 January 2025.
