New musical comedy Miss I-Doll is set to make its world premiere at The Other Palace Studio in London from 18 February to 9 March 2025. This explosive one-woman musical comedy promises an unforgettable night of satire, passion, and vibrant storytelling.

Set in the high-stakes world of reality television, Miss I-Doll tells the story of Mia, a seemingly perfect contestant in a live TV show finale who shocks audiences by revealing the unfiltered truth. What begins as a glamorous competition spirals into chaos as Mia unapologetically challenges societal norms, exposing the capitalist agendas and stereotypes ingrained in modern culture.

Co-written by Tobia Rossi (Hide and Seek, The Prince of Air) and Oliver Lidert (Fable, Threads), Miss I-Doll transforms a modern fairy tale into a sharp critique of capitalism, gender roles, and media manipulation. The show is derived from an original idea by Ilaria Fioravanti. The musical is directed by Ruthie Stephens (Moulin Rouge The Musical, Cinderella) and features an electrifying score composed by Simone Manfredini.

Rossi describes the show as “a crazy musical divertissement about how human rights can turn into mainstream products,” while Lidert calls it “a satirical romp around modern cultural taboos.”

Currently showing at The Other Palace, the Studio features the festive panto Homo Alone!, while The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical takes centre stage in the Main House.
