English National Ballet’s critically acclaimed new production Lest We Forget is currently playing at the Barbican Theatre in London.

Award-winning British choreographers Akram Khan, Russell Maliphant and Liam Scarlett have been commissioned to each create new work to reflect the moving and powerful impact of the First World War.

Khan’s work (Dust) explores the empowerment of women in the war. Maliphant’s conveys the sacrifice of the men in Second Breath. And Scarlett’s work (No Man’s Land), explores the relationship between men and the women they leave behind.

Until 12 April at the Barbican Theatre.
