Hit West End show Mean Girls The Musical has extended its run at the Savoy Theatre in London.
The show is now booking to 8 June 2025, with over 75,000 new tickets available.
Mean Girls The Musical is based on the Paramount Pictures film and opened at the Savoy Theatre in June, scoring some great reviews from the critics.
Mean Girls stars Charlie Burn (Les Misérables) as Cady Heron, with The Plastics played by Georgina Castle as Regina George, Elèna Gyasi as Gretchen Wieners, and Grace Mouat as Karen Smith. Elena Skye plays Janis and Tom Xander plays Damian, with Daniel Bravo as Aaron Samuels.
The show also features Lucca Chadwick-Patel (Kevin Ganatra), Ako Mitchell (Mr Duvall), and Zoë Rainey (Ms Heron, Ms Norbury and Mrs George).
The ensemble cast includes Tia Antoine-Charles, Georgia Arron, Liam Buckland, Shonah Buwu, Baylie Carson, Freddie Clements, Siobhan Diffin, Clíona Flynn, Fergie Fraser, Angus Good, Jenny Huxley-Golden, Holly Liburd, Corey Mitchell, Mervin Noronha, Aharon Rayner, Trézel Sergeant, Josh Singleton, Annie Southall, Lillia Squires, Tommy Wade-Smith and Holly Willock.
Directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw (Disney’s Aladdin, The Book of Mormon), Mean Girls has music by Jeff Richmond (30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), lyrics by Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde), and a book by the film’s screenwriter Tina Fey (30 Rock).
Based on Tina Fey’s 2004 film starring Lindsay Lohan, Mean Girls tells the story of a young girl who moves from the plains of Africa to a suburban high school in Illinois. She quickly learns that the wilds of Africa did not prepare her for the fierce and vicious manoeuvres of the popular girls in an American high school.
