The Park Theatre in London has announced a revival of Bette & Joan, about the legendary clash between Hollywood megastars Bette Davis and Joan Crawford.

The production will run at the Park Theatre from 3 December 2024 to 4 January 2025.

Bette & Joan will star Emmy Award winner Greta Scacchi reviving her acclaimed performance as Bette Davis, alongside RSC and National Theatre actor Felicity Dean as Joan Crawford.

Billed as a bittersweet comedy, the show follows the two Oscar winning actresses as they lock horns during the making of the classic What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? Full of wise cracks and one liners, two cinema greats let rip about their lives, loves and careers.

Written by Anton Burge, Bette & Joan is directed by Sue Jenkins, with set and costume design by Neil Gordon.

Producer Clive Brill said in a statement: “This is Brill Productions fourth visit to Park, having previously produced the highly successful Abigail’s Party and Corpse! here. I am thrilled to be working with this wonderfully talented team of creatives.”

Greta Scacchi previously starred in Bette & Joan at the Arts Theatre in 2011, alongside Antia Dobson.

Bette & Joan is playing at the Park Theatre from 3 December 2024 to 4 January 2025.
