Acclaimed singer-songwriter KT Tunstall has performed a number from her brand new show Clueless A New Musical.
Based on the much-loved 90s movie starring Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd, Clueless is coming to the West End’s Trafalgar Theatre in London, playing from February 2025.
Singer KT Tunstall, best known for hit songs including “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” and “Suddenly I See”, has written the music for the new show, alongside lyricist Glenn Slater (Sister Act, School of Rock, The Little Mermaid).
At a launch for the show this week in London, KT Tunstall also confirmed that she will release a six-song EP of numbers from Clueless, ahead of the show’s West End opening. The EP will be produced by Tim Bran.

Clueless A New Musical has a book by writer of the original screenplay Amy Heckerling, who based the story on Jane Austen’s Emma.
The production is directed by award-winning Rachel Kavanaugh, known for hit shows Half a Sixpence, The Great British Bake Off Musical, The Wind in the Willows, and forthcoming musical A Knight’s Tale; and choreography will be by Olivier Award winner Kelly Devine (Come From Away).
Set in the glitzy world of Beverly Hills, the story follows Cher Horowitz, a wealthy and popular high school student who spends much of her time matchmaking — only to realise that she might not understand love as well as she thinks.
Casting for the show is to be announced.
Clueless A New Musical is playing the Trafalgar Theatre from 15 February 2025, booking to 14 June 2025.
