Cameron Mackintosh, the producer of the show, presents the videos, which take a look at the cast of his brand new production of the show, including Eva Noblezada as Kim, Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer, Alistair Brammer as Chris, Tamsin Carroll as Ellen, Hugh Maynard as John and Rachelle Ann Go as Gigi.

The 1988 documentary The Heat Is On, made for ITV in the UK, took a detailed at the making of the musical, featuring casting in Manilla and the back-stage efforts of director (a very young) Nick Hytner and Cameron’s team, to stage the musical starring Lea Salonga and Jonathan Price.

The new videos, of which more will be released as we get nearer to the 5 May 2014 launch date, provide a number of fascinating interviews with the show’s writers, Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil, plus the cast and crew of the show.

The second video includes an impressive audition video of Korean star Kwang-Ho Hong, who plays Thuy in the show.
