Tickets are now on sale for the RSC’s new season in London, playing the Barbican Theatre this autumn 2024.
Transferring from sold-out runs at Stratford-upon-Avon, the RSC’s acclaimed productions of The Buddha of Suburbia and A Midsummer Night’s Dream are coming to London.
The Buddha of Suburbia plays at the Barbican from 22 October to 16 November 2024, and is adapted for the stage by Wise Children’s Emma Rice with Hanif Kureishi, based on Kureishi’s best-selling novel.
The show got great reviews from the critics when it opened at the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream plays at the Barbican from 3 December 2024 to 18 January 2025, directed by Eleanor Rhode.
Featuring star of BBC’s Ghosts, Mathew Baynton, as Bottom, this hilarious production of Shakespeare’s captivating comedy transports audiences from deepest midwinter to the most magical of midsummer nights.
Currently playing at the Barbican Theatre is Bartlett Sher’s revival of classic Cole Porter musical Kiss Me, Kate starring Adrian Dunbar and Stephanie J Block, until 14 September 2024.
