Sinéad Cusack stars as Polly Wyeth in Jon Robin Baitz’s acclaimed play Other Desert Cities at the Old Vic directed by Lindsay Posner.
Sinéad Cusack returns to The Old Vic following her performance in The Bridge Project productions of The Cherry Orchard and The Winter’s Tale.
Her other stage work includes Juno and the Paycock (National and Abbey Theatre), Rock ’n’ Roll (Royal Court, West End and Broadway), The Birds (Gate, Dublin), and RSC performances in Antony and Cleopatra, Macbeth, The Taming of the Shrew, The Merchant of Venice, As You Like It, Measure for Measure, Much Ado About Nothing (also on Broadway), and Cyrano de Bergerac.
Awards include Evening Standard and Critics’ Circle Best Actress awards for Our Lady of Sligo at the National and on Broadway.
Film and TV work includes The Wrath of the Titans, Eastern Promises, V for Vendetta and I Capture the Castle, A Room With A View (ITV), the final series of Poirot (ITV) and North and South (BBC).
Forthcoming film roles include Eliza Graves, alongside Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley.
