I Wish My Life Were Like a Musical UK & Ireland tour announced

Acclaimed revue show I Wish My Life Were Like a Musical is heading out on tour this summer, including the King’s Head Theatre in London.

Written by Alexander S Bermange, and directed and choreographed by Matthew Parker, the comedy musical lifts the lid on awful auditions, debilitating dance routines, mid-performance mishaps, backstage backstabbing, superfans and harsh critics – plus those magical moments that make it all worthwhile.

The tour kicks off at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester on 2 July 2024, playing to 6 July, and then visits the King’s Head Theatre in London from 9 to 21 July 2024.

Other tour dates include the Everyman Cork from 25 to 27 July, the Gilded Balloon Museum at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival from 1 to 25 August, the Corn Exchange Newbury on 29 August, the Grand Theatre Wolverhampton on 30 August, and Theatre Royal Winchester on 31 August.

The show played Wilton’s Music Hall in London last September with a cast that included Jennifer Caldwell (Six The Musical), Sev Keoshgerian (Little Women), Rhidian Marc (Wicked) and Julie Yammanee (Bonnie and Clyde). Casting for the tour is to be announced.

The show is produced by James Seabright, who is Chair of the King’s Head Theatre. His other current productions include Police Cops The Musical at the Southwark Playhouse Elephant.
