Production photos have been released for the new UK tour of murder mystery Cluedo 2 – The Next Chapter starring Ellie Leach.
Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach has made her stage debut in the show as Miss Scarlett. Ellie also stars as Faye Windass in Coronation Street.
Starring alongside Ellie is West End actor and TV favourite Jason Durr (Casualty, Heartbeat) as Colonel Mustard, plus Jack Bennett as Wadsworth, Hannah Boyce as Mrs Peacock, Dawn Buckland as Mrs White, Liam Horrigan as Mr Black, Edward Howells as Professor Plum, Tiwai Muza as PC Silver and Gabriel Paul as Reverend Green, with Kara Alberts-Turner, Audrey Anderson and Henry Lawes.
Following the success of the original Cluedo play, based on the classic Hasbro boardgame, the show is back in a brand new, original comedy mystery, set in the swinging 60’s.
Cluedo 2 is written by one of the UK’s most successful TV and stage writing duos, BAFTA Award winning writers Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran (Birds of a Feather, Goodnight Sweetheart and Dreamboats and Petticoats) and is directed by Mark Bell (The Play That Goes Wrong, A Comedy About a Bank Robbery). The creative team also includes Set and Costume Design by David Farley, Lighting by Jason Taylor, Sound by Jon Fiber and Movement Direction by Anna Healey.
In the show, as the bodies pile up Cluedo’s colourful characters – The Honourable Mrs Emerald Peacock, Colonel Eugene Mustard, ‘Professor’ Alex Plum, Miss Annabel Scarlett, ‘The Reverend’ Hal Green and the housekeeper Mrs White – move from room to room trying to escape the murderer and survive the night.
