Global drag superstar RuPaul is appearing at Manchester Opera House and the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London this April 2024.
As part of the tour for his new book RuPaul: The House of Hidden Meanings, RuPaul will appear at Manchester Opera House on 6 April 2024, and London’s the Royal Festival Hall on 7 April 2024, as part of their annual literary festival.
The event promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear RuPaul’s extraordinary story, as told by him.
International drag superstar and pop culture icon RuPaul reveals all in his brutally honest, poignant, and deeply intimate memoir of growing up Black, poor, and queer in a broken home, to discovering the power of performance, found family, and self-acceptance.
His new book, The House of Hidden Meanings published by Harper Collins and out on 5 March 2024, is billed as a self-portrait of the legendary icon on the road to global fame and changing the way the world thinks about drag.
The book tour also includes the US, with New York on 4 March 2024, Philadelphia on 6 March, Washington on 8 March, Atlanta on 10 March, St. Louis on 11 March, Chicago on 12 March, San Francisco on 14 March, Toronto on 3 April, Santa Barbara on 18 April, and Los Angeles on 20 April.
