The award-winning stage and screen actress, who won multiple Emmys for Desperate Housewives, and a Golden Globe for Transamerica, will be making her UK stage debut in the play, which will run from 15 February to 16 March 2024 at the Park Theatre.
Joining Felicity Huffman as Paige will be Steffan Cennydd as Isaac, Thalía Dudek as Max, and Simon Startin as Arnold.
In the play Pulitzer and Tony-nominee Taylor Mac explodes the classic dysfunctional family drama and turns it on its head, in a blistering play that explores a family in transition.
Hir is directed by Steven Kunis (Straight White Men), with set and costume design by Ceci Calf, lighting design by Ryan Joseph Stafford, fight and intimacy direction by Claire Llewellyn and casting by Becky Parris.
The play is produced by David Adkin and RJG Productions in association with Midnight Theatricals and the Park Theatre.
Actor Felicity Huffman said in a statement: “I’m honored to get to work with Steve Kunis and to perform at the Park Theatre. As an ardent fan of Taylor Mac I’m so thrilled I get to act in one of Taylor’s brilliant plays. I studied in London back in the palaeolithic era and it has been a dream of mine to come back here and work someday. I’m a lucky gal.”
