Production photos are in for Drew McOnie’s NUTCRACKER at the Southbank Centre in London.
Tchaikovsky’s world-famous score is reimagined by multi award-winning jazz artist Cassie Kinoshi for a swinging onstage jazz band, with dancers bringing the storytelling and wild-spirited adventure of The Nutcracker to life.
Drew McOnie’s playful jazz inspired reinvention of The Nutcracker features Amonik Melaco as Action Man, Sam Salter as Clive, and Patricia Zhou as Sugarplum. Additional performers include Chanelle Anthony, Christie Crosson, Tim Hodges, Lukas Hunt, and Rachel Muldoon. Due to injury Sam Salter is currently off and the role of Clive is being played by Mark Samaras.
NUTCRACKER is playing at The Tuff Nutt Jazz Club, a bespoke music and performance space at the Southbank Centre until 6 January 2024.
