The free theatre careers fair TheatreCraft is back next month, aimed at young people who are looking for non-performing jobs within London theatre.

TheatreCraft is the UK’s largest careers event for 16 to 30 year olds who are seeking offstage roles in theatre, and this year’s event will take place at the Royal Opera House on 20 November 2023.

The event is targetted at young people who are interested in working in a wide range of theatre roles, including set design, costumes, lighting, rigging, marketing & PR and more.

The day’s events will include a series of workshops with theatre professionals, and a host of backstage tours of theatres, including the Royal Opera House, Adelphi Theatre , Gillian Lynne Theatre, His Majesty’s Theatre, Lyceum Theatre and Sondheim Theatre.

There will also be exhibitors in a marketplace, split over the Paul Hamlyn Hall and the Linbury Theatre Foyer in the Royal Opera House, from a number of key theatre organisations including West End theatre owners LW theatres and Delfont Mackintosh Theatres, and education providers.

TheatreCraft will also run a separate online version of the event, on Wednesday 29 November, for all ages, with registration to open soon.
