The 37th annual Olivier Awards will be held on 28 April 2013 at the Royal Opera House in London.
Hosts of the show will be Hugh Bonneville and Sheridan Smith, with voiceovers by Julia McKenzie.
Performing on the night will be star of Glee Matthew Morrison, Broadway actress Idina Menzel and pop and stage legend Petula Clark, amongst others.
Guest stars and presenters will include Kim Cattrall, Lee Evans, Romola Garai, Lily James, Myleene Klass, Damian Lewis, Tim Minchin, Arlene Phillips, Daniel Radcliffe, David Suchet and Will Young.
Performances from nominated musicals will include Will Young and the company of Cabaret, the full companies of A Chorus Line and Top Hat in specially created pieces for the awards night, Heather Headley performing “I Will Always Love You” from The Bodyguard, along with James Bourne of Busted fame giving an exclusive performance from his nominated musical Loserville. Further show extracts will be announced in due course.
WATCH
The awards will be broadcast on ITV in the UK on Sunday 28 April 2013 as an extensive highlights show.
LISTEN
The awards will be broadcast live from 6pm on BBC Radio 2, hosted by Ken Bruce and Anneka Rice. This will include red carpet arrivals and a broadcast of the entire ceremony live.
COVENT GARDEN
There will be a BBC Radio 2 Stage in Covent Garden Piazza that will be hosted by Claudia Winkleman and Michael Xavier, with performances from West End shows (from 4pm on Sunday). This free concert will include performances from Billy Elliot The Musical, Matilda The Musical, The Phantom Of The Opera, Wicked, Burn The Floor, Potted Potter and Some Like It Hip Hop with more still to be announced.
