West End’s The Prince Of Egypt cinema trailer released

A new trailer has dropped promoting the cinema release of The Prince of Egypt, which was filmed live at London’s Dominion Theatre when the show was playing in 2021.

Based on the much-loved DreamWorks Animation film of the same name, the musical is set in Ancient Egypt and follows the life of Moses, from being a prince of Egypt to his ultimate destiny of leading the children of Israel out of Egypt.

The Prince of Egypt features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) and a book by Philip LaZebnik (Mulan, Pocahontas). The show was directed by Stephen Schwartz.

The cast was led by Luke Brady as Moses, Liam Tamne as Ramses, Christine Allado as Tzipporah, Alexia Khadime as Miriam, Joe Dixon as Seti, Debbie Kurup as Tuya, Mercedesz Csampai as Yocheved, Adam Pearce as Hotep, Tanisha Spring as Nefertari and Silas Wyatt-Barke as Aaron.

The Prince of Egypt will be released in selected UK and international cinemas on 19 and 22 October 2023. It will also be available to digital purchase or rent on 5 December 2023.
