Photos are in of Andrew Scott (Fleabag, Sherlock) starring in Vanya at the Duke of York’s Theatre.
This one-man version of Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya is adapted by Simon Stephens (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time), and is now playing at the West End’s Duke of York’s Theatre until 21 October 2023.
Directed by Sam Yates, with design by Rosanna Vize and an original score by Kelly Moran, Andrew Scott takes on all of the characters in Chekhov’s famous 1898 play, reuniting with playwright Simon Stephens following their productions of Sea Wall and Birdland.
During the production, Andrew Scott will be understudied by Victoria Blunt (The Lavender Hill Mob, A Christmas Carol).
