If you fancy dressing as a diva or recreating La Traviata in your own front room, then English National Opera have got you!
For the first time in a decade, ENO is holding a Yard Sale this Friday and Saturday (7 and 8 July 2023) at their warehouse on the Woolwich Road in London.
Hidden treasures from the ENO costume and props archives are promised, including hand-crafted items, one-of-a-kind costumes, and even bits of the sets!
Some of the more impressive items for sale include a an exotic bird display cabinet from La Traviata, a huge bear made for ENO’s production of Lulu, plus furniture, vintage clothes, and everything in between.
ENO said in a social media post this week that the sale would include a range of items, “from wedding dresses, vintage furniture, hats and shoes to giant lizards and other weird and wonderful props, you’re bound to find a hidden gem to take home with you.”
The Yard Sale will take place from 10am to 4pm this Friday and Saturday at Stonelake Industrial Park, 667 Woolwich Road, SE7 8LH.
