A number of London theatre venues have won awards at this year’s 2023 RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) London Awards.
The RIBA has been celebrating outstanding work for over 180 years, and their awards and prizes are regarded internationally as a mark of excellence, recognising the best architecture, architects, research and students.
Winners of the RIBA London Awards were announced on 12 May 2023, and included a number of high-profile London theatre venues.
Winners included:
- Theatre Royal Drury Lane: A stunning renovation of this historic London theatre, currently home to Disney’s Frozen, was conducted by Haworth Tompkins for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s LW Theatres – read more

- The Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse Theatre: Home of smash-hit West End musical Cabaret, the Playhouse theatre was transformed to host the show, with building redesign by Carmody Groarke for Ambassadors Theatre Group – read more
