Austentatious – An Improvised Jane Austen Novel extends West End run – now booking to June 2023

Austentatious – An Improvised Jane Austen Novel has extended its theatrical run in London’s West End.

The stage adaptation of the award winning radio programme is now booking at the Arts Theatre on West Street through Summer 2023, with tickets now on sale to 26 June.

For those unfamiliar with the BBC Radio 4 programme, the show improvises a Jane Austen novel every night. Inspired entirely by a title from the audience and performed in period costume with live musical accompaniment, it’s a riotous, razor-sharp show where swooning is guaranteed.

The production features a revolving all-star cast including Rachel Parris (The Mash Report, Live at the Apollo), Cariad Lloyd (QI, Inside No.9, Griefcast, The Witchfinder), Joseph Morpurgo (Radio 4, Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee), Andrew Hunter Murray (No Such Thing As A Fish) and more.

Other West End shows with booking periods include Mamma Mia! at the Novello Theatre (booking to 2 March 2024), The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre (booking to 12 August 2023) and Tina – The Tina Turner Musical at the Aldwych Theatre (booking to 11 February 2024).
