The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London

The smash-hit Broadway show The Book of Mormon will open in the West End this Spring, beginning previews on 25 February 2013.

The show will open at the Prince Of Wales Theatre London and preliminary casting is currently under way to find the  new stars of the show.

Written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone along with Avenue Q’s Robert Lopez, the show has won numerous awards on Broadway including 9 Tony Awards.

This hilarious musical centres on a pair of teenage Mormon boys sent on a mission to a dangerous part of Uganda to spread the word, and is a riot of song and dance numbers mixed with profanity and outrage!

And far from offending, The Book of Mormon has been embraced by all – including Mormons, with the show managing to be mocking, outrageous and satirical but is also well researched, humane and surprisingly moral. A must-see.

  1. I am so excited! I have also just read that the show will preview from february 2013! Only 8 months!

I loved Avenue Q, so I really do expect great things from the show.

I wonder who they will cast as Elder Price? Hopefully it will make a nice change from all this TV casting silliness.

Does anyone know what will run at the Prince of Wales between Mamma Mia moving homes and BOM arriving.

    I literally cannot wait
