Cagney and Lacey star Tyne Daly comes to London to revive her acclaimed performance as Maria Callas in Terrence McNally’s Master Class.
Tyne Daly is a major US star of both stage and screen.
Tyne is best known for her work on “Cagney & Lacey” (four Emmys) alongside Sharon Gless, and for performances in “Judging Amy” and “Christy” and appearances on “Burn Notice” and “Grey’s Anatomy and in several TV films.
In theatre she most recently starred in Master Class on Broadway at The Kennedy Center. She won a Tony for her performance as Rose in the successful 1989 revival of Gypsy and a Tony nomination for Rabbit Hole.
Her film work includes Georgia, with Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons.
In Master Class, which is directed by Stephen Wadsworth, she is joined by a cast that includes Dianne Pilkington, Naomi O’Connell, Garrett Sorenson, Gerard Carey and Jeremy Cohen.
