Set in America in 1952, the show is a homage to the golden age of the great American book-musical, with all the grit and relevance of contemporary politics and entertainment. Burlesque is written by Adam Meggido, the award-winning creator of Showstopper ! The Improvised Musical, and Roy Smiles who is an award-winning comedian, author and playwright whose West End credits include Ying Tong, The Rat Pack and Bombing People.

The cast includes Linal Haft, Buster Skeggs, Jon Paul Hevey, Chris Holland, Alicia Davies, Victoria Serra, Sinead Mathias and Jeremiah Harris Ward.
