Lea Salonga in Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends

West End and Broadway star Lea Salonga stars in Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends at the Gielgud Theatre in London.

Lea Salonga is an Olivier and Tony Award-winning stage sensation – and official Disney Legend as the voice of both Princess Jasmine and Fa Mulan. She is also the original star of Miss Saigon, a role which first launch her on to the international stage, causing a sensation in the West End, Broadway and around the world.

Lea Salonga is a celebrated actress and singer. She has won multiple awards including a Tony, Olivier, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Theatre World Awards for her outstanding contributions to musical theatre.

Lea has also starred in several Broadway productions, including her West End and Broadway stage debut in the world-premiere production of Miss Saigon; and the 2018 revival of Once on This Island which won a Tony for “Best Revival of a Musical.” She also earned critical acclaim for her performance in George Takei’s Allegiance, a musical about a Japanese American family during World War II.

Lea is also recognized for her work with Disney, lending her singing voice to Princess Jasmine in Aladdin and Fa Mulan in Mulan and Mulan II.

Lea has sold out concerts around the world, including performances at Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House. Her global tour “The Human Heart Tour,” had record-breaking sales across North America and the United Kingdom.

Lea’s TV work includes serving as a judge on “The Voice” in the Philippines.
