Leading theatre charity Acting for Others has announced the date its charity event West End Flea Market 2023.
Last year’s event saw crowds of theater enthusiasts gather for showstopping items and the opportunity to meet their favorite West End stars, raising over £45,500 in just one morning. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, 20th May 2023 at St Paul’s Church and Churchyard in Covent Garden.
Top West End productions will set up stalls offering a range of theatrical memorabilia, signed items, and the chance for selfies and autographs. Each stall will be designed by the company to showcase their productions, with themed merchandise and limited-edition collectibles. A star-studded panel will judge the Best Dressed Stall, with the winner announced at the event.
The autograph marquee will see twice as many stars in attendance this year, with Acting for Others merchandise on offer, signed posters and programs, a theatrical tombola, live entertainment, and refreshments from the Theatre Café. Flea Market favorite Psychic Su Pollard will return to tell fortunes, and Biggins Bargains, an activity inspired by Bargain Hunt, will see two celebrity teams compete to auction off their theatrical finds for the highest amount.
A limited number of early bird tickets will be on sale in April, giving people exclusive early access to the event via a separate entrance. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this unique and exciting theatrical event and support a great cause at the same time!
