The London production of Disney’s Newsies has once again extended at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre.
Producers have added 3-months to the run with the show will now playing to Sunday 30 July 2023. Disney’s high-energy musical has been a huge hit with audiences and critics alike.
Newsies is an uplifting tale of the Newsboys strike of 1899 against Joseph Pulitzer and other publishers who tried to take more than their fair share of the young workers’ earnings, and Manhattan newsboy Jack Kelly, who formed his own union.
The current cast includes Michael Ahomka-Lindsay (Legally Blonde) as Jack Kelly and Bronté Barbé (Beautiful) as Katherine Plumber.

With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman and a book by Harvey Fierstein, this Broadway favourite opened in 2012, winning Tony awards for Best Original Score and Best Choreography and landing a filmed version on Disney Plus.
