Video: Dirty Dancing new trailer

A hot new trailer has dropped for Dirty Dancing ahead of the show coming to the West End this January.

The movie-to-stage musical kicks off performances at the Dominion Theatre for its 3 month run from 21 January 2023 to 29 April 2023. Dirty Dancing tickets are now on sale.

The show will see the return of stars Michael O’Reilly (West Side Story, Lord of the Flies) as Johnny, and Kira Malou (Fame) as Baby.

They are joined in the cast by Charlotte Gooch (Singin’ in the Rain) as Penny Johnson, Georgina Castle (Cinderella) as Lisa Houseman, Lynden Edwards (A Little Night Music) as Jake Houseman, Jackie Morrison (The Last Ship) as Marjorie Houseman, Colin Charles (We Will Rock You) as Tito Suarez, Michael Remick (Follies) as Max Kellerman, Tony Stansfield (Little Women) as Mr Schumacher, Danny Colligan (Les Misérables) as Billy Kostecki, Alastair Crosswell (Singin’ in the Rain) as Neil Kellerman and Lydia Sterling as Elizabeth.

Other cast include Chrissy Brooke, Inez Budd, Lily Laight, Hollie-Ann Lowe, Callum Fitzgerald, Nathan Ryles, Joel Benjamin, Shaquille Brush, Carly Miles, Ben Middleton, Lee Nicholson, Ayden Morgan, Miles Russell, Tom Parsons, Morgan Burgess, Tom Mussell, Christopher Fry and Charlotte Coggin.

Dirty Dancing features 35 smash-hit songs including Hungry Eyes, Hey! Baby, Do You Love Me? and (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life.

Dirty Dancing has a script by Eleanor Bergstein, and is directed by Federico Bellone, with choreography by Austin Wilks and supervising musical director Richard John, costume designer Jennifer Irwin, lighting designer Valerio Tiberi and sound designer Armando Vertullo.
