Disney’s Newsies to extend London run at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre to April 2023.
Following sold-out previews and overwhelming demand, producers of Disney’s Newsies have announced an extended booking period for the highly anticipated London show; the musical will now run through to Sunday 16 April 2023. Tickets for the new booking period are on sale now.
The cast includes Michael Ahomka-Lindsay (Legally Blonde) as Jack Kelly and Bronté Barbé (Beautiful) as Katherine Plumber.

With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman and a book by Harvey Fierstein, this Broadway favourite opened in 2012, winning Tony awards for Best Original Score and Best Choreography and landing a filmed version on Disney Plus.
Newsies is an uplifting tale of a defining moment in American history – the Newsboys strike of 1899 against Joseph Pulitzer and other publishers who tried to take more than their fair share of the young workers’ earnings, and Manhattan newsboy Jack Kelly, who formed his own union.
Audiences in the UK have a chance to enjoy the thrill of one of the biggest Broadway hits of recent years. In an innovative and brand new production at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, theatregoers will be thrust right inside the action as the newsies dance, sing, jump and fly around the streets of a booming 19th century New York City.
