The first three celebrities for the 2023 Strictly Come Dancing – The Live Tour have been announced.
TV actor Will Mellor (Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, Coronation Street, Eastenders, Holly Oaks), former gold medalist winning Olympic swimmer Ellie Simmonds and TV and radio presenter Tyler West will be back on the dance floor come January and February 2023.
They will join returning host Janette Manrara and TV judges – Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and for the first time ever Anton Du Beke.
Running for 31 supersized performances across the UK, the tour will open at the Utility Arena Birmingham on 20 January 2023 then waltz its way across the country to venues in Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle, London, Belfast and Glasgow.
Further celebrity cast will be announced in due course.
The last Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour featured Series 19 winner Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice; Series 19 runner-up John Whaite and Johannes Radebe; Series 19 contestant Tilly Ramsay and Nikita Kuzmin; Series 19 contestant Sara Davies and Aljaž Skorjanec; Series 19 semi-finalist Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu; Series 18 contestant Max George and Katya Jones; and, Series 18 runner-up Maisie Smith and Kai Widdrington.
