Francesca Lara Gordon and Sam O’Rourke join Mary Poppins for final weeks

Francesca Lara Gordon and Sam O’Rourke have joined the cast of Mary Poppins for its final weeks at the Prince Edward Theatre in London.

Flying in for the final magical 7 weeks, the pair will play Mrs Banks and Robertson Ay.

Based on the stories by PL Travers and the original Disney film, the magical story of the world’s favourite Nanny is spectacularly brought to the stage with dazzling choreography, incredible effects and unforgettable songs.

The show is led by Zizi Strallen (The Car Man, Strictly Ballroom) in the title role alongside Charlie Stemp (Crazy For You, Half A Sixpence) as Bert. The cast includes Charlie Anson as George Banks, Liz Robertson as Miss Andrew, Claire Machin as Mrs Brill, Paul F. Monaghan as Admiral Boom and Bank Chairman and Petula Clark ( who celebrated her 90th birthday at the show last week) as Bird Woman.
