Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester has announced that their new winter musical is to be Broadway musical comedy Head Over Heels.
The show runs at the Hope Mill Theatre from 26 January to 4 March 2023.
This musical love story is set to the music of 1980’s all-female rock band The Go-Go’s, and includes hit songs such as “We Got the Beat,” “Our Lips Are Sealed,” “Vacation,” Belinda Carlisle’s “Heaven is a Place on Earth” and “Mad About You.”
Billed as a hilarious, exuberant celebration of love, Head Over Heels follows the escapades of a royal family on an outrageous journey to save their beloved kingdom from extinction – only to discover the key to their realm’s survival lies within each of their own hearts.
The show will be directed and choreographed by Tom Jackson Greaves (Amelie), with musical direction by Arlene McNaught, casting by Lucy Casson and set and costume design by Sophia Pardon.
