Wilton’s Music Hall reveals 2023 Season

Historic venue Wilton’s Music Hall in East London has announced its new season for January to April 2023, including theatre, music, opera, spoken word, and cabaret.

First up in January is the return of Buffy Revamped from 9 to 13 January 2023, parodying 90s cult TV hit Buffy the Vampire Slayer – all in just 70 minutes. Its creator, Brendan Murphy, recently won Best Play at the Worldwide Comedy Awards for Friend: The One with Gunther.

Charlie and Stan runs from 18 January to 4 February 2023, and is a comedy musical inspired by real life events about the greatest double act that nearly was – Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel. The show features a piano score by composer Zoe Rahman, and is part of this year’s London Mime Festival.

Music and film during the season includes Buster Keaton’s movie Steamboat Bill Jr. with a live piano score, Tom Carradine’s Cockney Sing-along, and OneTrackMinds returns to Wilton’s with another selection of writers, thinkers, and musicians, each presenting a thought-provoking story about a transformational piece of music that has made a difference to their life.
