The London Palladium production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is heading to Toronto.
The show will reunite two of the London stars, with Jac Yarrow playing Joseph and Linzi Hateley as The Narrator.
Joseph will play a limited run at the Prince of Wales Theatre in Toronto from 11 December 2022 to 22 January 2023.
This limited North American premiere for the Palladium production may be a precursor to a Broadway run for the show, which is a long held ambition of Lloyd Webber’s.
Joseph is the show on which the Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber collaboration all started, and it has gone on to become a multi-award-winning musical performed in over 80 countries. Much-loved songs in the show include Any Dream Will Do, Close Every Door To Me, There’s One More Angel In Heaven and Go, Go, Go Joseph.
This production started in June 2019 at the Palladium starring Sheridan Smith, Jac Yarrow and Jason Donovan, and returned in 2021.
