Do London Theatres have air conditioning?

Yes, most West End Theatres have Air-conditioning, or at least air-cooling or comfort cooling systems.

It has proved tough to retro fit air conditioning into some West End Theatres, as they are old heritage buildings that are often listed. That said, a number of theatres – especially those owned by Cameron Mackintosh’s Delfont Mackintosh Theatres and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s LW Theatres, have undergone recent renovations and have fitted air con as standard.
